Make some time for your body and mind

Why matwork classes?

You are looking for a friendly, inclusive group class.

You prefer smaller class sizes where the teacher has time to give people individual support if needed.

You may have had an injury in the past, but it's not active at the moment and you know how to look after yourself when you move.

You are interested in a mindful approach to movement.

You’re looking for a movement class that will improve your strength, flexibility and coordination.

You want to de-stress and improve your overall wellbeing.

What to expect

All classes are Mixed Ability and have a maximum of 10 people. In each class you can expect an emphasis on mindful movement, breath and precision.

Small equipment (balls, blocks and bands) is used to provide challenge and encourage greater body awareness. I adapt the level of difficulty and type of exercises to suit the needs of the people in each group.

Movement options are included so that everyone can work at a pace that suits them.

Matwork classes are held in the Dance Studio at St Dunstan's Jubilee Ground and can be booked online - see below for details.
