Small group sessions

Small group sessions have no more than 3 people.  This allows time to provide additional support with alignment, technique and modifications to exercises so that everyone get as much as possible from the session - depending on your individual needs.  A wide range of small equipment is used to assist your body in movement and to bring greater variety, challenge and fun.  Small group sessions are ideal for people who:
  • are looking for a more personalised approach
  • have existing physical imbalances or movement issues
  • want to improve their Pilates practice and technique
  • need a more gentle introduction to exercise and movement
  • are returning to exercise after illness or injury (subject to medical clearance).

I adapt the level of difficulty and type of exercises to suit the needs of people in each group and, where possible, aim to have people of similar ability levels in each class.  Please note that you may need to check with your doctor before coming to class if you:
  • have a health condition
  • are returning to exercise after illness or injury.
It may be more appropriate for you to attend one or more 1-2-1 sessions before joining a small group class. If in doubt, please get in touch to discuss which option is best for you.  I do not currently offer pre or post natal small group sessions.

Timetable and location


10am: Open level

11.15am: Gentle Pilates

Classes are held in a private studio space less than 10 minutes' walk from the Catford and Catford Bridge railway stations. If you have mobility issues or an injury that prevents you from comfortably walking up and down stairs please contact me to discuss alternative arrangements.


Small group sessions can be booked up to six weeks in advance.  Prices vary depending on the number of classes booked in each six week period:

  • £18 per class if you book 1 or 2 classes (or a class from the waiting list).
  • £16 per class if you book 3 or 4 classes
  • £15 per class if you book 5, 6 or more classes
You can swap to another class so long as you do so at least 24 hours in advance.  Classes can not be carried over from one six week period to another.  Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at full price.
